Become a Webinar Presenter for MNPG

The Medical Nutrition Practice Group has many experts in our community and would love to hear from you. MNPG strives to host at least five webinars per year. These are offered free of charge to all MNPG members. Read below to learn about the two webinar types that are available and how to submit a webinar proposal.

Educational Webinar
Because this webinar is educational in nature, we do not allow for the presenter to promote any products or services during the webinar. That means you would be allowed the following:

  • Short Bio read at the beginning of the presentation by the Moderator
  • Slide with Presenter’s picture, email, website, Social handles. No promotional products on this slide/including logos.

Each Presenter will receive a $200 Honorarium from MNPG if not a MNPG Board Member or appointed position. The honorarium will be forfeited at the discretion of MNPG board if promo materials are included. Please note, if two presenters participate in the webinar, each presenter will receive $100 each.

Sponsored Webinar
This webinar is educational in nature, where the speaker will present on designated topic and engage with the audience through a Q & A session, but the presenter will pay a sponsorship fee to provide promotion of a product or service they may offer. The Corporate Sponsor fee for non-MNPG members is $3000.00 with the fee for MNPG members set at $500.00. If interested we will put you in touch with the MNPG sponsorship chair to help coordinate.
Each sponsor is allotted:

  • 3-5 minutes to speak of products or services
  • 1-3 promotional slides to present the specific product or service they are offering

Steps for Webinar Proposal Submission

Send an email of interest to the member benefits chair, Mary Kay Skarrett, and the chair, Makayla Schuchardt. In your email of interest be sure to include:

  • Your name & credentials
  • Current CV
  • Proposed webinar title
  • Brief description of your webinar and objectives
  • What type of webinar: Educational vs Sponsored
  • Proposed dates of webinar

The MNPG executive committee will then review the proposal. If both parties (presenter and executive committee) agree on the proposed webinar, the webinar will move forward. The presenter will work with the MNPG member benefits chair to complete required paperwork for the Academy.
